Bite-window score
Per-hour score 0–100 combining four signals from the recreation pipeline:
- Surface T proximity to the species' optimum.
- Wind — light chop helps, gale hurts.
- Solunar period — major/minor windows give a +20 bump.
- Cloud cover — overcast tends to push the bite earlier in the day.

Where to drop · comfort thickness across the lake
Reading the where-to-drop map
Every cell in the lake gets a color from its comfort thickness — how many meters of in-species-range water sit vertically at that spot.
Color scale
- 🟢 Green square = fishable. Brighter green = thicker comfort band (bright ≥4 m → forgiving depth window; dim ≈1 m → use a depth-counter).
- ❄️ Blue ✕ = whole column too cold for the species today — avoid.
- 🔥 Orange ✕ = whole column too warm — avoid.
- No marker = no data here (land / too shallow).
